In the last years Nectar has been amongst the top local organisations who have invested heavily in training and staff development.

Teams within the Group are coached and trained by experienced management members both in-house as well as on the field. In addition, the company has invested in professional training for all its employees, from directors to janitors, hence ensuring continuous self development. This type of training has been entrusted to the UK based company Mdina Partnership which also delivers Management and Sales Development

In view of offering uninterrupted high quality service, Nectar Group has recently founded the Nectar Sales Academy, a college for young people who would like to start a career in sales. These people are trained to the Nectar philosophy and create a pool of new recruits that join the sales team when the need arises. Programs through its affiliation with the Institute of Leadership and Management.

All of the Company’s investment in training and development is not being done in reaction to meet business success but as part of proactive business growth strategy.

In Greek mythology 'nectar' is considered as a beverage of the gods, which conferred immortality on any mortal lucky enough to partake of it. This inspired the name of the company when in 1991 Nectar Ltd was established as a partnership.
