The setting up of the Food Service Division

June 2011 saw the birth of the Nectar Food Service Division.  After several years of contemplation, the management decided to separate the Horeca business from the other sales teams, with idea of creating more focus and dedicate more time and energy to this segment, while relieving the remaining reps of the HORECA business and allow them to concentrate more on the retail segment.  Since this division is still in its birth, it is currently composed of 1 salesrep.

The portfolio of the food service division is composed of brands such as Rocchetta, Pfanner, Vittles Cakes, La Donatella, Mexma, Lewis Pies and several other items that are suitable for the restaurant business.

The company also invested in a Citroen Nemo Mini Freezer Van in order to equip the sales person better in distributing samples and performing frozen express deliveries to his customers.

About Nectar

In Greek mythology 'nectar' is considered as a beverage of the gods, which conferred immortality on any mortal lucky enough to partake of it. This inspired the name of the company when in 1991 Nectar Ltd was established as a partnership.
